from the cross pathway project

the piece below is from a cross pathway project which ended successfully, my method of drawing and that consistent style of mine was choosen to be put on the leaflets we was working on. I did a range of drawings for that brief and with my team-mates help we were able to produce some beautiful work.

inspired style put onto fabric

my santa clause illustration

And so the piece below was just an experimentation with my new current inspired style with a combo of my cartonic imagination, it filled out magnificently and because of the season (christmas) i tried to keep it relevant, this soon will reach fabric and then worn haha. trial and erorr :)

another recent illustration of mine.

drawing style

the image below is a piece from my own drawing album, the protrait is infact meant to be me. (dont know if you can see it lol) but you should be able to notice how lukes style has fell into my into my current drawing style. i may of been looking at lukes work a bit too much but i just cant get my hands off and stop looking at his pieces.

one of my recent pieces put onto a t-shirt.. on release

lukes famous line style

the piece below is also another piece from luke dixon, as i mentioned before the correct shadowing and detail on hair is unbelievable, drawing out hair how like he does is one of my weaknesses, his style has took a big leap onto my work and i have found a comfort zone on producing my own type of portraits with my own type of style. Ive always had my own type of style and ive always drawed from memory and imagination no matter what but ive always been a little repititious so ive started too look at old photographs and drawing from them, and its gave me a turn around with detail and realness. Because my way of drawing has always been cartoony even though i havent stop drawing my cartoon faces and crazy animals haha

another piece from luke dixon

the piece below isnt a piece from me but a piece from the inspirational luke dixon himself, I didnt come across him so long ago, a fellow classmate of mine told me to have a look at his work because he had a simular style to mine so I did. And it turns out that his work is incredible, the detail he produces is insane, I dont know how he manages to combine a realistic image with that drawing technique, he manages to fingure out the shading with lining and there isnt a mark out of place. I'm always looking at his work and always seeing if he has any updates on his facebook like page. great artist!!
